BISD=BROKEN PROMISES TO OUR CHILDREN ,TEACHERS AND PARENTS. JUST REMEBER WHEN IT COMES TIME FOR RE-ELECTION, VOTE EVERYONE OF THEM OUT OF OFFICE.
ReplyDeleteTHEY SHOULD HAVE BUILT ALL SCHOOLS BEFORE AN ATHLETIC FACILITY.I GUESS OUR BOARD FEELS ATHLETICS IS MORE IMPORANT THAN EDUCATION.WE NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE IN OUR DISTRICT, THEY LIED
TO THE VOTERS ABOUT THE BOND WE PASSED. WE SHOULD NOT PASS ANYMORE BONDS WHILE THOMAS, INGRAM AND BRASSARD(WHO SUPPOSEDLY REPRESENTS THE SALLY CURTIS AREA)OR ANY OTHER BOARD MEMBERS THAT CURRENLY SERVE.KEEP UP THE FIGHT!
You can't vote them all out of office because BISD has single member districts. The only trustee that supposedly represents the geographic area where Curtis parents reside is Janice Brassard. I voted against her at the last election in May but there were less than 500 people that voted in all and she won election for another two year term. The biggest item on her agenda is making sure we have a nautitorium. She was supposed to be the trustee that would be a "watchdog". The only thing she is watching is Curtis parents getting screwed. She is a disgrace.

ReplyDeleteLie 1 Brassard - Only received two phone calls. I know people who tried calling her and she NEVER CALLED THEM BACK. Then she blames it on the fact that her blind husband erases the messages and calls.
Lie 2 Thomas - First, he says that we will move into the portables by January 2011. But see the part in earlier transcripts. Parsons says that they hope to get Regina built by the end of December 2010. Then Thomas stops him and asks if he's sure they will be on schedule. He says hopefully. Hopefully?
Lie 3 Thomas - We can't start at YMCA until March. The YMCA clearly said in their presentation that BISD could start ASAP. Say that again Thomas - only faster this time so we can't see your lips while you lie.
I must say, I knew it was going to end this way. They only did what they had to do to pacify us. I see a bigger fish that needs to go as well, besides Brassard. Thomas has done nothing but bring BISD down. He can't even look you in the eye when he speaks to you. I don't know what the board sees in him to keep him around. On top of that, I don't know why they think he deserves the outrageous pay he gets. I will say this, good for Mr. Neild. We need him as our representative instead of Brassard. All we can do now is pray that everything will go as 'promised'. I won't hold my breath.

ReplyDeleteThis is what BISD wanted all along..other than Tom Neild, I feel that Bisd does not have what is best for our children in mind,all the have in mind is money. They never REALLY listend to what we had to say, they only went through the motions to pacify us. However, all they did was make me more angry. By not being truthful to me, they have in fact lied to my son and that is something I will not tolerate. Not starting unitl March on the Y property is a crock. My son has been in BISD schools for almost a month now and I am very dissatisfied by the District as a whole. I am impressed by the dedication to our kids by the Curtis teachers, staff and Parents. But of course, nobody wants what is best for their child more than a parent.
ReplyDeleteThe fact is it was all just one big lie. Thomas lied every time he opened his mouth. He flat out told me that he/the board would honor whatever decision the Curtis parents decided on. The vote taken was to go with the Y.
ReplyDeleteHe lied about the start date. And he did it right after the CEO of the Y told everyone that they could start immediately. Thomas said "we can't start until March". LIE LIE LIE.
Then he says that they've done studies and the project will be 3 - 3.5 million. More lies. They haven't studied crap and why would SC cost 1 million + more than the Regina Howell campus.
Oh and Brassard..what a gutless, vindictive, liar she is. She says she's only heard from 2 people! LIE LIE LIE!!! And she says that several people at the meeting at Curtis told her that she should make the decisions as she saw fit. LIE LIE LIE. One lady said that.

ReplyDeleteI don't care what option you were in favor of, if nothing else, you should be outraged at how the parents were treated.
Remember Brassard's actions at the Town Hall meeting? Screaming at the parents like a crazy cat lady? She screamed at us to call her. We do. She doesn't answer the phone and her blind husband deletes our messages. (Great excuse by the way Janice - who can argue against a blind guy.)
What kind of representative is that?
